Nikolaus Roloff gained his first professional experience in an apprenticeship at a large German car parts supplier after which he studied economics in Germany (MA) and Great Britain (BA). Since 1997 he has been working in public organisations and private businesses as an analyst and consultant. Since early 2010, he has been a consultant and trainer at Como. He is a certified systemic organisational developer. In 2015, he became a partner at Como Consult GmbH. His main focus is strategy consulting and organisational development, intervention design and implementation, as well as monitoring and evaluation of public programmes in an international development and foreign trade context. His main areas of work are sustainable economic and trade development. His customers are the GIZ (German corporation for international cooperation), the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the Sub-Saharan Africa Initiative of German Business (SAFRI), Sequa, the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs and the International Trade Centre (ITC) in Geneva.
