Training in organizational development

After many years of consulting practice in Germany and abroad, we are happy to pass on our experience to interested consultants and practitioners.

Since 2007, we have been offering an in-service training course that addresses the central challenges of organizational and process consulting. We are convinced that anyone who wants to design change processes must be willing to be disturbed and to take the risk of their own changes. This training offers a protected space in which to experiment and learn creatively.

Comos’ international background enables us to adapt “western” consulting approaches to specific intercultural contexts.

The training imparts consulting skills at four levels: individuals, teams, organizations and networks/cooperations.

We understand learning and consulting as a holistic process that requires more than just intellectual abilities. In all modules, we therefore work with designs that promote creativity and awareness. This also includes using one’s own body as a source of perception.

Aims of the training
  • Get to know and develop your own personality and attitude as a consultant in greater depth.

  • Get to know the fields of action in organizational and process consulting.

  • Understand different consulting approaches, try them out and apply them in different situations.

  • Be able to apply the building blocks of organizational consulting, such as clarifying the assignment and roles, planning interventions and designing processes, in different situations.

  • Get to know methods and gain confidence in applying them.

  • Increase your ability to reflect and engage in solution-oriented conversation.
Forms of learning

We offer various forms of learning. Within the modules, we work with the experiences of the trainers and participants, with practical examples from external case providers, with micro-teaching and with the dynamics of the group. We pay particular attention to the counseling personality and perceptual abilities of the participants. In some modules, there is an opportunity to practice Qigong exercises.

Outside of the modules, participants work in self-organized, small learning groups that meet regularly. These are supervised externally. At the end of the training, the personal learning journey is presented in a final paper.
